FAMILY HISTORY · ESTABLISHED 1956

Built by family.
Carried forward by experience.

Huckel Excavations is a second-generation family-owned business with roots reaching back to 1956. From early trucks and tracked plant to today’s fleet of 23 earthmoving machines and trucks, the business has grown with the work while remaining family-run.

01 / THE BEGINNING

A family business
from the start.

More than 70 years of practical earthmoving experience began with a family name and the machinery needed to get the work done.

Huckel Excavations was established in 1956, beginning a working history that now spans generations. The family archive records the trucks, tracked plant and hands-on work that shaped the business through its early decades.

Those photographs show how equipment was transported and operated long before today’s fleet and technology. They also preserve something that has stayed constant: the Huckel name has remained closely connected to the work.
